As our founder grappled with the rollercoaster of emotions of an empty nest, she found herself in the company of another mother, sharing the universal experience of witnessing a beloved child embark on a new chapter in life. Over drinks at the hotel bar, their conversations flowed, and a shared camaraderie was born.
As the weeks unfolded, the echoes of that initial meeting reverberated in a way neither could have anticipated. The newfound friend courageously revealed a heartbreaking truth—she needed help to escape a controlling, abusive partner.
